In 1979, I got my first taste of stock car racing from some friends who were long-time fans. And when I say long-time, Tom had been going to the races at Daytona since the 1940s, when the track was made up of half beach and half A1A. From him I learned much of the rich history of the sport. In 1980, I made my first trip to the famed Daytona International Speedway. From the first moment I stood at the fence and saw a car going around that track, I was hooked!

In 2005, we decided to turn our love for the sport into something more and so Speed Collectibles was founded. The company is dedicated to the love of racing. The excitement, the competition, and the passion that makes racing a way of life. We hope you will take some time and explore what our site offers and we'd also love to meet you in person at our store. Whether you are new to the sport or a long-time veteran like me, we are sure you will find something of interest!
