Benny Parsons  1941 -- 2007

We're going to miss you Benny! 

 It was my great pleasure to meet Benny Parsons at Daytona in 2006.  A nicer, more down to earth person you would not find.  Benny was with us at a Nascar Members Club event and after the official Q&A was over, we had a nice little conversation.  As well as knowing so much about the sport and the drivers, Benny understood what it was to be a fan because he started out as a fan himself.

 We were sad to hear of Benny's illness and equally happy to hear that his cancer was in remission a couple of months ago.  I guess this was a race that he just wasn't going to win.  His voice and his humor will be greatly missed as we go into the 2007 season.

All of us at Speed send our heartfelt sympathy to Benny's family.

Welcome to 2007!

Just a little over a month until the 2007 Nascar Nextel Cup racing season begins.  We are very excited about this year, having finished our Rookie Season in 2006.  We have lots of great new stuff in the store and we are working hard to stock up for the 2007 season. 

If you're working on getting your gear together for this season and don't find what you're looking for, please send an email to .  If we have it, we'll get it to you and if we don't we'll see what we can do about getting it.

For our NHRA fans, the season starts February 8 with the CARQUEST Auto Parts NHRA Winternationals in Ponoma, California.  We will be adding some really cool NHRA items to the store and web site in the next couple of weeks. 

We also have tons of great NFL products (diecast, stickers, magnets, jerseys, and more).

PHOENIX - In commemoration of Budweiser’s 130th Anniversary, Motorsports Authentics has commissioned Dale Earnhardt Jr. to personally autograph 130 of the 1:24 scale No. 8 Budweiser 2006 Chevrolet Monte Carlo die-cast collectibles.
